Dear Friends,
This past year has been a very rocky road and a busy one. Some of you know that my mother has been in and out of the hospital and nursing homes many times this year. She stayed at my house for awhile, too. There hasn't been much time to keep in touch with friends. I apologize to those who have written and I haven't had time to reply the way I used to.
Thank you very much for all of your cards, notes, and gifts. They are a bright spot in my house now. This year we were not able to send cards and gifts, because our time is taken up traveling back and forth several times a week to see my mother in the hospital and nursing home. It's a long drive and time is not my friend these days. So, instead, I share with you a part of my Christmas tree.
I hope all of you are well and that your lives are flourishing.
Love and best wishes for the coming year and may your Christmas be jolly. For those who do not celebrate Christmas, may your holidays be bright and happy.

Merry Christmas
Oh what a beautiful tree! Since we chose not to put one up this year due to time constraints, and perhaps lack of enthusiasm, seeing yours close up was very special. I even have a couple ornaments similar to yours! I esp loved the little mouse with outfit and hat! May you be blessed richly with peace of mind and plenty of time to do as you wish and knowledge that all is truly well. Thank you for this past 2008...I started blogging in Jan '08 and yours is one of my very favorites--I have been so very blessed by your kind words and extraordinarily beautiful photography. Many, many blessings to you and yours.
Love, SisSTAR Kylita
