Thanks for stopping by everyone and leaving your nice notes. Mom is doing better, but at nearly 87 years old, there are numerous things to deal with. I've been taking a break from blogging and doing some different things this week just for a change of pace with the hope of relieving some of the stress. Sometimes a break from patterns and change of scenery helps. I just can't concentrate on much of anything right now, so a post here and there, like this, is about all I can manage. I'll be by to visit your blogs soon though, whether or not I post things. You'll see me around soon. I miss you all. Enjoy your weekend. Today is the first sunny day here in AGES! I'm hoping to get out and enjoy it. Hope you can do the same!
Thanks

Hope things settle down a bit for you Lin. Wishing you rest, smiles, and peace in your soul. Hugs to you. :c)
Rest up and take care of your mom. We know you would like to be on the computer and we understand when you don't come to our blogs. Do what works for you! We love your photos and walks, but we are content to see whatever you feel like posting. Blogging should be fun for the blogger and not just filling demands for the viewers :-) That is a beautiful bird photo! Lovely! Glad you are getting some sun....we are getting a little rain finally. We need it.
Changes of pace and scenery are helpful not matter what the circumstances. Enjoy what you can.
Lovely Egret shot! Gee...I'm glad the sun finally came out. Taking care of your Mom and all the changes in schedule that brings - you need some sunny days!
Lin
That photo is just gorgeous!
I'm glad for your sunny day. Sometimes it does have healing properties.
Take care. Hugs!
Lin: I just had to deal with a death this week so I appreciate the strin. I do hope all goes well. Beautiful photo todat of the egret.
Good luck to you and your mom. And enjoy these sunny days--they're a gift, especially during this strange summer!
I know well the stress, both physical and emotional, of taking care of an aged parent so look after yourself too.
Someday you will look back and not remember the stress at all, just that you were with your mother and there were many happy moments and you will never regret having helped her...and that will, of its own, help you to feel at peace. Bless you with lots of sweet moments--thru the lens of your eyes or your camera--or your mom's eyes xoxoxo
Gorgeous photo as always. Thanks for sharing. I hope you're having a relaxing weekend.
Hi Lin! Beautiful picture. Sorry about your mom. I know when my mom was sick, it was very exhausting. So don't forget to take care of yourself too. Lisa
Hi Lin,
Just take your time.
Hugs,
Mel
Thinking good thoughts for you...glad you're listening to your inner self and doing what you need to do.
Take your own quality time Lin. We will wait here :)
Wishing you relaxation and serenity.
Enjoy your sunny day....
I haven't visited for a while here, so I'm sad to hear that you are having a hard time and your mother is not well. Now is a time for you to let others be kind to you, and your online readers and friends won't desert you just because you are not around so much. Instead they will be thinking of you and wishing you well. I hope things improve for you and your mother soon, and that you give yourself plenty of time to replenish your strength.
Exceptional shot! Keep up the good work!

Do what you need to do & don't worry about us. ;) Ironically, I took a picture of an egret today, myself!
