What glorious fields of sunflowers! In season, Italy is flooded with such fields and I always smile at their heads facing the sun, drinking in the heat.
Look after yourself.

Oh my! That is soooooo gorgeous! After I saw your pictures I immediately inquired on where I can find sunflower fields down here - just to learn that I'm two months late. Next year then! :)
Thank you for sharing! Cheers, Klaus

Sunflowers are the greatest! I think my neighbor thinks I'm crazy, always out there taking pictures of my little patch. But I just love them. Thank you for these.

Lin: A very nice nature study of the sun flowers.

Those are beautiful! I love the perfection of the center of the sunflower and the buds are always interesting. Really nice, cheerful summery photos.

When I drive from Johannesburg up to the Madikwe Game Reserve we always pass fields of these amazing flowers.

On numerous occasions I have wanted to stop and get some images but never actually took the time.

Your images are stunning and have inspired me to stop next time they are in flower!

Great shots!!

What beautiful pictures! I just love the picture by that old stone wall.I haven't seen many sunflowers in our area yet. Maybe we are behind in the growing season.

Very beautiful....I sure hope all is okay with you, your mon ..your family...

Your post reminded me that every day as I drive down the road, there is a sunflower plant with two HUGE sunflowers on it. Every day I wish I would have my camera with me. Maybe today.

What wonderful photos of the sunflowers! Funny, I will post sunflowers in my small world tomorrow. It must be that time when sunflowers are in full bloom. Again, I am sorry not to be around much lately. Hopefully after our move, time will be more readily available. I miss your blog!

The close-up shot was great.

I like the second shot - showing the close up. Seeing your sunflowers is a good way to start a pretty rainy and a miserable looking day here.

Wow... a sea of sunflowers. Just beautiful Lin. Sending lots of warm hugs and wishes your way today.

Oh how beautiful, Sandpiper! My dad used to grow 2 very long rows that would get 10+ feet high with huge heads that he'd dry, of course, to feed the birds. I loved that and the corn husks he'd make teepee-like and we'd get pheasants strutting around. We have one tiny little sunflower that a bird must've planted for us. What awesome photos--thanks so much!

I hope you and your mom are doing okay. Thought of you and hope you are not overextending. These are such gorgeous photos of sunflowers. I grow them and LOVE how their head all turn with the sun, all in a row. Last summer I had them in my garden with head 15 inches across...this year I think they are going to be bigger. Hope to photograph my garden or video it. It's tiny but very very rich. Take care of yourself and know that I am thinking of you. Hugs, Robin
