I wandered around from one trail to another, visiting various ponds and streams. I spotted this Great Blue Heron standing on a little patch of grass that was coming up in the center of this pond.

Daisy
An old stone wall near the road
I have no idea what this plant is
A little damselfly was on a blade of marsh grass
People were out enjoying the beautiful day
I looked down and watched some little fish swimming under the water
Grasses
Maybe Fleabane?
A heron flew overhead through some threatening clouds
And emerged into the clear blue sky.At this point, I was all "walked out", so I decided to go home

wow! the water is so clear! i like that wild plant (which you don't know what).
looks like everyone is enjoying sometime with nature there.
Nice photos. I've tried several times and not gotten one as clear as yours of the heron.
